Sudbury Cycling Club 04Sep2005 Race

ImageUpdate:  Well SCC has made some special arrangements for non SCC members to compete in their club race.  It is a little expensive for a small club race, but that is just my opinion.  Click Read more if you are interested for the email from race director Al Vardy…

The Sudbury Cycling Club is holding another club event on September 3rd and 4th. There is a time trial on Saturday and a criterium on Sunday. Both events held on the 1km loop at Delki Dozzi park in Sudbury. Entry fee is $25.00 + $15.00 for the Sunday Crit and $20.00 for both the ITT and Crit.  If you want to do both stages and cannot make it on Saturday there is a make-up TT on Sunday to allow you to compete for the overall.  There is also a BBQ after the race on Sunday afternoon.  If you plan on attending please read the pdf doc, and make note of the equipment requirements.

Details available on the Sudbury Cycling Clubwebite.  Or Download the details HERE.

“Great news!!!! We are able to offer non-SCC club members the opportunity to compete in this race by purchasing a “One-Event Membership” for the reasonable fee of $24.50 in addition to the event entry fee. This cost is the OCA insurance fee and 100% goes to the OCA – there is no profit for SCC.

So for those of you who know people out of town or in town that might now be interested, here’s a great chance. As well, for tri-athletes who might not wish to take part in the Criterium on Sunday, come out and measure yourself in the Time Trial. This is great training for the bike portion of your races.

The wording in the attached Technical Guide referring to “waves” in the TT has been clarified (I hope), as well as a change has been made in the “Prizes” section to reflect reserving funds for the post-race meal.

If you have any further questions or comments, please do not hesitate to ask.

Hope to see you at the race”

Al Vardy
