Despite overcast skies and cool conditions, eight riders took part in this evening’s ride. This momentous occasion marked the first official club ride and the first Tuesday night ride of the 2005 season. Although most people mounted their mountain bikes, the ride took place on the pavement, up Lees Road to Carmichael Road, through the Base and back down Golf Course Road. The ride was at a friendly pace and lasted about an hour. Great start to the season; there should be a solid group for both road and mountain bike rides. See you out there soon! |
